Domaine de Compostelle is an AOC Pomerol, a red Bordeaux wine.
It is made with 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc and it aged 14 months with 50% one-year old barrels and 50% in tank. The wine has a deep and brilliant ruby colour with purple reflections. It has an elegant nose with cherry, blackberry and liquorice aromas and on the palate tones of vanilla and raspberry. The wine has nice tannins and a good harmony between power and roundness.
The wine agrees perfectly with beef, truffles risotto, duck, cheeses (Blue cheese, Brie, Cantal…).
