Tomme de brebis au piment d'espelette is a raw sheep's milk cheese from Pyrenees. It is a semi-hard cheese with Espelette pepper. The cheese is the union between two produces of a same region : Pays Basque. It is a sheep's tomme with Espelette Pepper.
It has a delicate odour and taste and has a pleasantly sour sheep's cheese taste that is slightly spicy and salty with Espelette pepper.
It goes well with black cherry jam and a Basque cider of Txopinondo.
